TAITRA organized a visit for international guests.

To promote Taiwan's high-value manufacturing capabilities to international buyers, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) recently organized an international procurement delegation. The delegation invited professional buyers from multiple countries to visit central Taiwan and gain firsthand insight into the practical applications and recent advancements in Taiwan’s surface treatment technologies and digital manufacturing.

The visit focused on representative surface treatment manufacturers. Through guided tours, live production line demonstrations, and on-site presentations, international guests witnessed how Taiwanese companies integrate high-precision machining, eco-friendly processes, and smart management systems to effectively boost production efficiency and enhance product value.

Managing Technology, as one of the key highlights of this visit, showcased its concrete results in implementing digital factory solutions. By adopting electronic scheduling, real-time production feedback, and automated quality monitoring systems, the company has addressed challenges such as information gaps and unstable delivery schedules common in traditional industries. Furthermore, Managing Technology has introduced carbon footprint tracking and energy-saving management in alignment with global ESG trends.

TAITRA emphasized that Taiwan's manufacturing sector excels in customization flexibility and technical expertise. By organizing this site visit, TAITRA aims to strengthen buyers’ confidence and willingness to place orders, while also helping to raise the international visibility of Taiwanese enterprises and foster future collaboration.

The delegation included members from a variety of industries, such as tool components, building hardware, and mechanical parts. A matchmaking session was also arranged after the visit to facilitate in-depth discussions on future procurement and technological cooperation.
