Vacuum Metallization is a type of Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) process that involves coating a metal, such as aluminum or copper, onto a non-metallic substrate by evaporating the material in a vacuum. This process uses arc discharge technology under low voltage and high current conditions to vaporize the target material (such as metal), which is then ionized. The vaporized material and its reactive components are accelerated by an electric field and deposited onto the workpiece surface.
MANAGING TECHNOLOGY's vacuum ion coating technology offers an environmentally friendly surface treatment method that produces micron-level coatings without contamination. This ensures the coating fully complies with RoHS standards and is even suitable for use on consumer utensils, medical tools, and semiconductor components. Our coating technology can produce various types of coatings, including metallic layers (e.g., titanium, zirconium, chromium, and gold), nitride films (e.g., TiN, ZrN, CrN, TiAlN), carbide films (e.g., TiCN), and oxide films (e.g., TiO).
Currently, MANAGING TECHNOLOGY operates some of the most advanced and reliable vacuum ion coating equipment and production lines globally. We are also expanding our capabilities with the development of Taiwan’s first large-scale 1500mm x 1800mm HIPIMS system (High Power Impulse Magnetron Sputtering). All machinery and auxiliary equipment are supplied by reputable domestic and international suppliers, and they are equipped with computer-controlled systems and operated by professional technicians. Regarding color options, our coatings come in a range of colors, including deep gold, light gold, coffee, antique copper, black, dark grey, and rainbow hues, which can be tailored to meet specific customer color requirements by adjusting the relevant parameters.
