Smart Metering for Energy and Water Usage

To support our green manufacturing transformation, we have installed smart electricity and water meters across our facility. These meters enable us to monitor energy and water consumption in real-time, providing valuable insights that help us identify opportunities for efficiency improvements. By leveraging this data, we are enhancing our ability to control carbon emissions and reduce overall resource consumption.

With the data from our smart meters, we have integrated a green manufacturing management system that enables us to optimize resource usage, reduce waste, and minimize our carbon footprint. This system plays a key role in enhancing the sustainability of our production processes and ensuring we meet our environmental goals.

Carbon Footprint Reduction and Smart Energy Monitoring

Green Manufacturing Commitment at MANAGING TECHNOLOGY We are dedicated to achieving our Net Zero transformation goals by integrating green manufacturing practices into all aspects of our operations. As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, we have implemented key initiatives such as carbon audits, smart monitoring systems, and green manufacturing management to reduce our carbon footprint and enhance energy efficiency.

We have successfully completed a detailed carbon audit report that identifies key sources of carbon emissions within our facility. Based on these findings, we have developed a strategic energy-saving and carbon reduction plan aimed at minimizing our environmental impact and aligning with global sustainability standards. In anticipation of potential carbon taxes imposed by the European Union, we are proactively monitoring and managing our carbon emissions to ensure compliance with evolving regulations.

As part of our green manufacturing digital transformation, MANAGING TECHNOLOGY actively participates in industry-government-academia collaborations to drive sustainability efforts. We are working closely with the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) Industrial Development Bureau to conduct workshops on green production systems, educating others on how to reduce carbon emissions in manufacturing.

Additionally, we have partnered with National Formosa University to offer practical seminars on carbon auditing, helping to raise awareness and educate industry professionals on best practices for sustainable manufacturing.
