Our company provides essential equipment for research and validation, offering students practical opportunities to solve real-world challenges. This hands-on approach ensures that students develop essential skills and the confidence to face industry challenges, allowing them to seamlessly transition into the workforce.

Furthermore, through these collaborations, Managing Director Chang Chia-Lieh personally leads our internal efforts to implement the "shared learning" corporate philosophy. This approach fosters an inclusive company culture that prioritizes digital transformation and ensures that employees align with the company’s forward-thinking goals.

In our ongoing commitment to talent development, we also partnered with National Formosa University in March 2023 to establish the “Lean Green Manufacturing Industry Master's Program.” This initiative bridges the gap between academic theory and real-world application, preparing high-level professionals who can contribute to the sustainable growth of the industry.

Beyond talent development, we are also dedicated to advancing green transformation. As part of our environmental commitment, we introduced carbon auditing as a fundamental step in our sustainability journey. In June 2023, in alignment with the industrial development administration’s Digital Manufacturing Management Value-Added Program, we hosted a “Carbon Audit Field Training Course” with National Formosa University. This event, held in an "Open House" format, allowed 162 faculty members from 68 universities and colleges to gain valuable insights into the carbon auditing process. This practical training helps promote sustainable practices and prepares future leaders to lead in the green transformation of industries.

2. Excellence in Lean Management:
Optimizing Processes for Digital Manufacturing

MANAGING TECHNOLOGY consider Lean Management as the foundation of our transition towards digital manufacturing. By establishing a smart enterprise base, we apply lean principles not only to optimize production workflows but also to enhance on-site processes. We have developed an internal continuous improvement team and implemented a visual management system to streamline production data monitoring.

Real-time production data is now made visible via management dashboards, which enables the digital tracking and analysis of production orders. Employees can easily scan QR codes to instantly access order details, resulting in a significant reduction in human error rates—from 5% to just 1%. Furthermore, production data analysis time has been reduced by 96%, and staff time for analyzing production details has dropped from 12 hours to just 0.5 hours per month. These lean initiatives have significantly enhanced production agility, speed, and market responsiveness.

Moreover, MANAGING TECHNOLOGY combines the strengths of traditional manufacturing with cutting-edge digital strategies. We have introduced robotic arms for grinding and polishing, improving coverage to over 80%. These robotic arms provide superior precision, even outperforming manual polishing in terms of consistency and accuracy. Additionally, the implementation of robotic arms has dramatically boosted production efficiency and reduced labor costs. Tasks that once required three experienced operators can now be completed with just 1.5 operators, focusing on the remaining 20% of tasks that the robotic arms cannot handle.

To further improve data management efficiency, we partnered with Dayeh University in November 2021 to implement a digital management system. This transformation has drastically cut document organization time from two hours to just 30 minutes, thanks to the use of electronic forms and digital workflows. With a simple click of a button, employees can perform tasks more efficiently, reducing paper usage, speeding up order processing, and significantly reducing internal operational time. By digitizing our core technologies and workflows, we have reinforced high-efficiency communication, ensuring that we remain a leader in sustainable manufacturing and maintain our competitive edge in the industry.

Our commitment to Lean Management and continuous process optimization is a key driver in achieving our goals for sustainability, energy efficiency, and business excellence. Through digital transformation and innovative manufacturing practices, we are setting the standard for the future of eco-friendly manufacturing and lean production processes.
