Milestones of MANAGING TECHNOLOGY

2000

  • MANAGING TECHNOLOGY was established in Changhua Dingfanpo, Taiwan, and began collaborating with the National Atomic Research Institute on technical development. The company purchased its first PVD vacuum coating machine, marking the transition from traditional painting to advanced Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) surface treatment technology. This milestone laid the foundation for MANAGING's growth in Thin Film Vacuum Coating.

2010

Since its founding in 2000, MANAGING TECHNOLOGY has invested nearly NT$100 million, purchasing a new Vacuum Deposition System every two years. By 2010, the company had six state-of-the-art machines jointly developed with the National Atomic Research Institute, securing 80% of Taiwan's market share in high-end water hardware products.

2011

MANAGING began developing its own equipment and outsourced manufacturing, while implementing the ISO 9001 Quality Management System to continuously enhance product quality and production efficiency.

The Quality Management System was upgraded to the ISO 9001:2018 version, ensuring that MANAGING TECHNOLOGY's processes aligned with the latest international standards.

  • MANAGING introduced Lean Management and established a production management IT system to improve efficiency. In addition, the company completed its carbon audit report and implemented ISO 14001 environmental management documentation.
  • The new factory (FAB 3) was completed, and green energy initiatives were launched, including 30 smart electricity meters and 1 smart water meter, resulting in an annual energy savings of approximately 200,000 kWh and reducing electricity costs by over USD$23,500. This initiative led to a 75% reduction in carbon emissions, saving approximately 99 metric tons of carbon.

  • MANAGING now operates 15 advanced vacuum coating machines, with a monthly capacity of 1 million pieces.
  • The company actively addressed carbon auditing issues and successfully obtained ISO 14001 certification. Production management was further optimized with the introduction of a visual management system, improving work efficiency and shipping accuracy.
  • A green manufacturing team was also established to foster talent in sustainable practices.

  • MANAGING TECHNOLOGY became the first vacuum coating company to fully digitize its operations. A digital management system was implemented to reduce data transmission errors, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • We also launched an in-depth transformation to integrate KPI management across departments, boosting production efficiency and product quality.
  • The introduction of energy monitoring systems and energy-saving vacuum furnace equipment resulted in a 50% reduction in both carbon emissions and electricity consumption, reinforcing the company's commitment to green manufacturing.
  • MANAGING aims to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
