The university tour of the "Digital Management Synergy Value-Added Program," organized by Minghsin University of Science and Technology, officially kicked off today (the 10th) on campus. The event brought together representatives from industry, government, and academia, drawing a distinguished crowd. Notable attendees included Vice President Liu of Minghsin University of Science and Technology, Chairman Shih of the Taoyuan Youth Industrial Park Association, Deputy Director Tang of the Industrial Technology Research Institute, and representatives from the Hsinchu Industrial Park. The atmosphere was vibrant and lively.

Mr. Chang Chia-Lieh, General Manager of Managing Technology Co., Ltd., who also serves as Chairman of both the Taiwan Transformation and Innovation Association and the Changhua Plumbing Hardware Industry Association, was invited as a guest speaker. He shared practical experiences regarding digitalization and low-carbon transformation in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Chang highlighted that, with years of support from the Department of Industrial Technology under the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the plumbing hardware industry has made significant progress in digital transformation, lean management, and low-carbon processes. Taking Managing Technology as an example, long-standing issues such as unstable delivery schedules and gaps in production information have been gradually resolved through a government-supported program and a tripartite collaboration among Minghsin University, system providers, and the company. This effort has led to greater process transparency and real-time data access, ultimately strengthening management capacity and significantly boosting customer confidence.

"For SMEs to stand firm in the market, digital tools, lean practices, and supply chain management are no longer optional," Chang emphasized. He urged companies to leverage government and academic resources to fundamentally shift away from traditional experience- and intuition-based management toward a more resilient operational foundation.

At the close of the event, Chang extended his best wishes to all industry partners in attendance, expressing his hope for a collaborative path forward toward a more efficient and sustainable industrial future.
