Strengthening the Future: Enhance the Overall Competitiveness of the Industry

the 2024 Metal Industry Series Courses

As we continue to advance in the digital era, the metal industry faces significant transformation challenges. To help break free from traditional manufacturing models, the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) Industrial Development Bureau, in collaboration with the Industrial Development Research Institute (IDRI), has launched the 2024 Metal Industry Series Courses. This initiative aims to support business owners and successors in embracing the challenges of the digital age, with a special emphasis on encouraging the second-generation leaders within the metal industry to participate in the upgrading process. To date, over 50 second-generation successors and business managers from industries such as hardware and surface finishing have joined, marking a new milestone in the industry's transformation and upgrade.

In this context, Managing Technology is actively engaging in this collaborative effort to enhance our digital competitiveness. We successfully held the first course on May 2nd, focusing on "Leadership and Team Management." The course, co-hosted by the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and Business Weekly CEO Academy, featured a compelling presentation by Dr. Wu, providing invaluable insights to attendees. Specifically designed for the metal industry, the course covered five core topics that participants can immediately apply to their company's operations, bringing tangible benefits to their leadership and management practices.

The event saw active participation, with learners engaging in discussions about overcoming inertia, breaking through adversity, and innovating management approaches. After the session, Managing Technology's managing director, Chang Chia-Lieh, shared, "In today’s era, securing large enterprise orders is no longer just about having great products. The ability of small businesses to align their management practices with the strategic mindset of large enterprises is equally critical!"

At Managing Technology, we remain committed to continuous learning and development, collaborating with industry partners to face future challenges and enhance the overall competitiveness of the industry. Moving forward, we look forward to building a thriving ecosystem with more partners, driving the transformation and upgrading of the metal industry.

Together, we will embrace the future and shape a stronger, more sustainable industry!
