MANAGING TECHNOLOGY Achieves Low-Carbon and Smart Transformation, Enhancing Global Competitiveness
MANAGING Technology Co., Ltd. has successfully completed its low-carbon and smart transformation, resulting in significant energy and cost savings while strengthening its position in the global market. By upgrading key production equipment, we have effectively reduced electricity consumption and costs, all while meeting international carbon reduction standards. This transformation has enabled MANAGING’s PVD vacuum coating technology to make a strong entry into the global luxury market, with products now being exported worldwide.
Specializing in metal surface treatment and coating technology, MANAGING TECHNOLOGY has embraced several upgrades to address the growing environmental and energy challenges. With support from the government, we have replaced outdated, energy-intensive production equipment with more efficient machinery, reducing electricity consumption by 50%. In addition, the entire production facility has been equipped with smart meters and an energy management system, providing real-time monitoring of electricity usage and enabling targeted energy optimization throughout the production process.
These upgrades have allowed MANAGING to save approximately 200,000 kWh of electricity annually, resulting in a USD $23,500 reduction in electricity costs. More importantly, these efforts have helped us reduce 98 metric tons of carbon emissions, significantly contributing to environmental sustainability. By implementing these low-carbon and smart upgrades, MANAGING TECHNOLOGY not only achieves business sustainability but also aligns with the global shift towards eco-friendly manufacturing and carbon reduction, enhancing its competitiveness on the international stage.
As part of its commitment to eco-friendly manufacturing, MANAGING TECHNOLOGY continues to expand its reach in the global market while adhering to international environmental standards. By aligning with the growing demand for low-carbon solutions, we are positioning itself as a leader in green manufacturing and sustainable production.
MANAGING is also a key member of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) Industrial Development Bureaus' Carbon Reduction Alliance and is collaborating with National Formosa University to launch the Professional Master Program in Industrial Technology of Green and Lean Manufacturing. The program, which involves 11 Taiwanese supply chain companies, focuses on enhancing carbon knowledge and carbon management capabilities. It includes critical training on carbon reduction strategies, greenhouse gas inventorying, and obtaining ISO 14064-1 certification. By strengthening the carbon management knowledge of key suppliers, MANAGING is helping drive industry-wide efforts to meet both domestic and international carbon reduction goals, while advancing towards the SBTi (Science-Based Targets initiative) net-zero objectives.
As MANAGING TECHNOLOGY continues to expand its global presence, we are committed to driving innovation in low-carbon manufacturing and eco-friendly surface treatment solutions. By embracing digital transformation and leading green manufacturing initiatives, MANAGING is poised to become a benchmark for sustainable manufacturing practices in the global market.
