Chairman of the Taiwan Transformation and Innovation Association

Mr. Chia-Lieh Chang, General Manager and Chairman of the Taiwan Transformation and Innovation Association, has long been deeply involved in the surface treatment and precision machining industries. He is dedicated to driving digital transformation and introducing green manufacturing processes.

As one of the few industry leaders who combines technical expertise with forward-thinking management, he stands out as a hands-on, practical visionary. Under his leadership, Managing Technology has fully implemented digital operations across the board, and has established benchmark models in areas such as carbon inventory, ESG management, and supply chain collaboration—earning recognition through various government projects and awards.

Speaking about his role as the association’s inaugural chairman, Chang stated: "The purpose of founding this association is to ensure that companies undergoing transformation are not alone. We aim to unite the strength of industry, government, academia, and research, to truly realize knowledge sharing, resource integration, and cross-disciplinary co-creation. Through this platform, we hope to build a warm and efficient support network for the industry."

The Taiwan Transformation and Innovation Association positions itself as a cross-industry, cross-generational, and cross-disciplinary dialogue platform. Moving forward, it will focus on the following six key areas:

  1. Establishing a database of successful industry transformation cases
  2. Assisting SMEs in adopting digital and green manufacturing processes
  3. Bridging government initiatives with academic research resources
  4. Offering training programs and leadership development courses for business leaders
  5. Hosting regular forums, hands-on workshops, and matchmaking events
  6. Promoting domestic and international exchange and cooperation to expand the influence of Taiwan’s industries

The inaugural list of board members and supervisors was also announced during the event, covering sectors such as machinery, automation, electronics, information technology, materials, and cultural and creative industries—symbolizing the association’s commitment to advancing the vision of "shared transformation and ecological co-prosperity" through a diversity of perspectives.
